So lets clear some things. I was born in Bulgaria by mother Bulgarian and father Croatian. Here is the thing. I’m mixed between two nationalities that are Slavic. Not between two races. But since i was born i know that people think i’m .. well different. And here is why. When i was in my elementary school the first day our teacher said i am from Bulgaria everyone changed they relationship with me. I wont say that someone hated me, not at all, I had a lot of friends, even besties but they always knew i am different. When I lived in Croatia my friends were telling me that i look Bulgarian and more east European, some of them were talking that Bulgarians were mixed with Mongolians in the past, and since they were under the Turks I get some Mongolo-turkish facial features. That’s nonsense. I actually never saw those difference between me and my Croatian friends. The truth is that Croatians were mixed with Hungarians and some Germans In the past but thats pretty much only thing that makes me different from them. Cuz booth nationalities are Slavic. Even tough i tried to explain them i am more look alike my father (he is Croatian) they would stay with the opinion that i dont look like THEM! I had some unpleasant situations when some of my Croatian acquaintances said that i am different race!!??? Well that was wierd! Anyhow I always get trough like trough a joke cuz really what else could i do. But there was the question that always stayed. Is it possibile that people can be so ignorant and limited? I guess so.

However when I moved to Bulgaria I was thinking that ill finally find my place in the society. But than again, Bulgarian friends tough i look more Croatian and that my character is cold like Croatians. Oh well than. After that i just gave up on that theme! It really may be that i am different, but that really doesent matter!
